The East, Qaddam, is Qof-Dallet-Mem, the same letters as Adam with Aleph elevated to Qof.
Qaddam is Adam's future: Adam Qadmon. All these equations are related to each other, and show
why Meadim/Mars, not Hamah/Sun (Gra) or Nogah/Venus (Golden Dawn), is in the east of the Cube of Space.
