Resurrection of the Word : Forward

Forward This Book contains many fragments of an earlier one, Quoi Israel that has not been translated into English. Other fragments, further devoloped, appeared in The Cipher of Genesis. Quoi Israel was published in 1935. Since then the Second World War, and later, the instauration of the State of Israel, modified certain of the author's views and clarified others. In 1935 he could still, more or less, accept as valid Marxists' ideas of social classes and revolution; whereas, now, they appear obsolete: at the end of an Era hopes in systems have gone. In this book the author now clearly defines his position in regard to the State of Israel. Israel is Jacob's name for having prevailed over Elohim. 9
